Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! My name is Nicole Byars and this is my 4th year with CASC! I am so excited to get to know each and everyone of you and I am looking forward to a wonderful year school year!
I am in my 14th year of teaching. I have taught high school, middle school, and elementary courses throughout my career, which began in Florida. I look forward to a fantastic year as we work together to help each student be successful academically. You will hear from me throughout the year, but please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions, concerns, or need assistance. I am excited to learn more about all of you as we get to know each other this year in class connect sessions, live help, and at our CASC outings! In the meantime, here is a little more information about me. I am originally from New Jersey, but moved to Florida when I was only one. I attended Florida Southern College where I played soccer and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. I am currently working to complete a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern University. I also have my reading endorsement and ESOL certification. I am married to my husband, Scooter, of 12 years and we have three very adventurous sons. Bryson is 8 and is about to start 3rd grade, Brooks is 3 and is a ball of energy, and Bodin is 8 months! We are very active in the church. In our free time we spend time taking care of our farm animals, we love to be outdoors, and we love traveling to see family/friends in Florida and Texas!
I hope you are as excited as I am about the upcoming school year! Sincerely, Mrs. Nicole Byars
